Postback URL builder
Choose your network’s macro style, adjust the macros if needed, and copy the ClickMesh postback URL into your network. Everything runs in your browser.
1. Offer link in ClickMesh
https://network.example/offer?id=123&aff_sub={click_id}ClickMesh replaces {click_id} with a unique click ID on every click.
2. Postback URL for your network
https://hopwire.xyz/postback?cid={aff_sub}&payout={payout}&txid={transaction_id}Paste this into your network’s postback or S2S pixel settings. Then use Send test conversion in ClickMesh and check the postback log.
How S2S postbacks work
When someone clicks your tracking link, ClickMesh records the click, gives it an ID and sends the visitor to the offer with that ID in a sub-ID parameter. The network stores it. When the visitor converts, the network calls your postback URL and fills in its macros: the sub ID you sent (as cid), the payout and its own transaction ID.
ClickMesh matches cid to the original click, so the conversion and payout are credited to the right traffic source, campaign and sub ID. The transaction ID stops the same conversion being counted twice if the network retries.
Common mistakes
- Using the wrong macro name, so the network sends the literal text
{aff_sub}instead of a value. - Putting the click ID in a sub-ID parameter the network does not echo back.
- Forgetting to save the postback on the offer or account level at the network.
Step-by-step setups are in the docs, for example Meta ads to an affiliate offer.
